Robert P. Kropac, M.D.

Robert P. Kropac, M.D., has been practicing Orthopedics since 1978. Initially doing surgery for many years and later practicing conservation orthopedics, treating Workers’ Compensation injuries, back and neck injuries as well as failed or non- surgical orthopedic conditions.

Dr. Kropac went to Ohio State University for his under graduate degree and his medical degree. He did his internship at USC/LAC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He did one year residency in General Surgery. He then served two years with the Unites States Army and achieved the ranking of Major. Following his service to the military he returned to USC/LAC Medical Center for four years of residency in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Kropac was the chief residence at the USC/LAC Medical Center and was recognized for his excellence with many awards. He also worked with many sports teams in the Los Angeles area working with Dr. Kerlan and Dr. Jobe, the team physicians for the Los Angeles Rams and the Lakers.

Following this he was in private practice in the Los Angeles area for twenty years before moving to West Virginia. For this past twenty years he has been practicing conservative orthopedics at the Orthopaedic Center of the Virginias.
